MY PRECIOUS WIFE'S BIRTHDAY!

Good morning my friends and family. Today is a truly wonderful day for me! Why?...Because I am helping my wonderful wife and friend's birthday. Almost 39 years ago my loving and awesome heavenly Father sent me an amazing woman to be my wife and life's partner. Soooooooo, Shirley, my awesome wife; happy birthday!!! Second only to God; she is the most caring, compassionate, loving, forgiving and considerate person I have ever had the extreme privilege in knowing. She has shared her life with me all these years, through 'thick and thin,' 'good and bad,' and rewarding and depressing times. There have been times in our marriage when I really missed the mark as her husband and friend...but she still forgives me and continues to love me completely. She has been, and continues to be my anchor through bad and depressing times. She is an awesome mother,  grandmother,  sister, aunt, Christian woman, and friend.  Sooooooooo, Shirley my wonderful, precious, beautiful and loving wife; I wish you a happy, enjoyable, loving and awesome birthday!!! This is indeed your day, so enjoy every minute of it!!!

Awbrey's Birthday!!!

Well, here it is; August 6th. This is an important and precious day for me as my beautiful granddaughter Awbrey is 14 today. Wow...how time has flown! It seems like it was just yesterday when I first saw her at the nursery at Antelope Valley Medical Center. I remember vividly how upset I was with the nursery staff for letting her hair ribbon slide down on her face and irritating her. But, they were quick to remedy the situation as they could discern the concern in my eyes. This young lady has been in my heart and on my mind daily for the past  14 years and will remain there as long as I am on this planet! She is bright, compassionate, loving, caring, concerned about her family and friends and the world. The first time I held her, she wrapped that beautiful small hand around my finger, and I knew that this would be not only my second chance as a parent, but from then on as a grandparent! She has never ceased to amaze me with her knowledge, love and wit! So to Awbrey ('Toodlebug,' 'Bre') my precious and wonderful granddaughter...I wish you happy birthday sweetheart!
