It's Been A While...

Well it's been a long while since I posted anything on my blog. Here's a real quick update: In August  2013 my wife and I and our children (Marianne and Stephen) and our granddaughter spend a week in Hawaii (Oahu and Maui). Shortly after we returned, we took a trip to northeastern WA and picked up our Australian Terrier puppy (2 1/2 months old). We named him Ozzie Bear. We then returned home in central California. Then in late October 2013, we moved from our home in central California to the small town of Ridgefield, WA. Now, we are only 8.6 miles form our children instead of 862 miles. We waited five years on the Lord to guide us and let us know when we should move, and He lead us both at the same time. Every thing about the move went smoothly and we both knew that it was God's Spirit leading us. We love where we live. Every where we go we see God's beauty in the landscapes that we drive through or around. We just spent Christmas Day at our house with our children for the first time in seven years, and it was wonderful! We are both anxious for spring to arrive so we can see all of the flowers and blooms around us. It is so great to live where there are 4 distinct seasons. It's quite a change from central California.
